Actor Sonu Sood’s wife, Sonali Sood, and his sister-in-law were injured in a road accident near Sonegaon Police Station in Nagpur. The accident occurred on the Mumbai-Nagpur highway on Tuesday, March 25, when their car collided with a truck.
Sonali Sood sustained injuries in the accident, but the timely deployment of airbags prevented major harm. Sonu Sood updated fans about his wife’s condition, telling media, “She’s doing fine now. Had a miraculous escape. Om Sai Ram.”
Sonali was traveling with her sister’s son and her sister-in-law when the accident happened. Fortunately, no one suffered serious injuries. Visuals of the heavily damaged car have also surfaced. Upon hearing the news, Sonu Sood immediately left for Nagpur and arrived early this morning to be with her.
According to reports, Sonali was seated in the front passenger seat, while her sister-in-law and nephew were in the back. The impact heavily damaged the car, but the airbags played a crucial role in ensuring the passengers’ safety.
Sonali Sood has been admitted to Max Hospital in Nagpur, where she is undergoing treatment. Doctors have confirmed that her condition is stable.
Nagpur Police Commissioner Ravindra Singhal confirmed that the car crashed into a truck while traveling to Nagpur. He stated that the airbags saved all passengers, though the car suffered heavy damage.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonu Sood was last seen in Fateh, a film inspired by real-life cybercrime incidents during the Covid-19 pandemic.
