Nagpur: The Orange City Cultural Foundation (OCCF), in association with PM Shah Foundation, Pune, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), Cine Montage, and Saptak, is set to host the Orange City ‘Arogya Film Festival’ on March 29 and 30 at Kavikulguru Kalidas Auditorium, Persistent Systems, IT Park, Gayatri Nagar.
The festival will be inaugurated on March 29 at 12:30 PM by Padma Shri and Ramon Magsaysay awardee Dr. Prakash Amte, in the presence of Adv. Chetan Gandhi, Director, PM Shah Foundation, Pune, informed Padma Shri Dr. Chandrashekhar Meshram, President of OCCF and a renowned neurophysician, during a press conference.
The two-day festival will feature a curated selection of 41 award-winning films that focus on various critical aspects of health and personal well-being. Topics covered include Alzheimer’s, Autism, Mental Health, Organ Donation, Drug Addiction, Obesity, Alcoholism, Environmental Issues, Blindness, Women’s Health, Sex Education, Cancer, and other social concerns. Many of these films will be screened in Hindi and Marathi, with support from PM Shah Foundation, Pune.
