A truck carrying goods caught fire while in motion near Naka No. 5 on the Nagpur-Bhandara road on Friday morning. Quick action by the driver ensured no casualties.
The Fire and Emergency Department received a fire call at around 7:52 am, following which a fire tender from Kalamna Fire Station was rushed to the spot. Firefighters managed to douse the flames within minutes, preventing further damage.


While goods worth ₹5 lakh were lost in the fire, officials successfully saved materials worth ₹10 lakh. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
