Proving that age is truly just a number, a spirited group of 16 trekkers from Nagpur, including 14 participants aged 55 and above, successfully undertook the challenging Rani Sui Lake Trek in Himachal Pradesh, reaching altitudes of up to 13,100 feet.
The trek was organized by HRS Hikers, with expert guidance from trek leaders Harrshit Jaiin and Rohit Pisipati, both hailing from Nagpur. The journey began with a strong sense of camaraderie and adventure, culminating in a proud moment on April 16 when 15 participants raised the Indian flag at the summit at 2:30 PM after a determined six-hour trek from Campsite 2.

Among the group, the oldest participant, Bharat Goenka (69), displayed exceptional grit, successfully reaching 11,200 feet. The team spent three nights in the mountains, acclimatizing and preparing at two scenic campsites – the first at 7,800 feet and the second at 10,800 feet.

The diverse group included two young trekkers aged 22 and the rest seasoned adventurers, all defying age stereotypes. The remarkable effort and resilience shown by the entire team serve as a powerful inspiration for many, showcasing that adventure knows no age limit.
