Nagpur recorded 44.4°C today, as the summer heat continues to rise across Vidarbha.
Brahmpuri remained the hottest city for the second day in a row, touching 45.9°C, followed by Akola at 45.2°C and Chandrapur at 45.0°C.
Other cities also faced high temperatures — Amravati recorded 44.2°C, Yavatmal 44.4°C, Wardha and Gadchiroli both saw 44.0°C, while Washim reported 43.2°C. Gondia and Bhandara recorded 42.6°C and 42.4°C respectively, and Buldana was the lowest among them at 40.6°C.
Authorities advise people to avoid the afternoon sun and stay hydrated to prevent heat-related problems.
