A Help Desk for helping the children in conflict with the law and helping them in their rehabilitation by Vajaha (Vana Jana Hakka) Foundation will be inaugurated at the Government Boys’ Observation Home, Patankar Chowk, Nagpur, at 11 am on May 8.
The Help Desk has been initiated by the Resource Centre for Juvenile Justice (RCJJ), a field action project of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, and the Department of Women and Child Development, Government of Maharashtra. Azim Premji Foundation, Bengaluru, has extended the financial support. Vajaha Foundation will look after the Help Desk in association with the DWCD (Directorate of Women and Child Development) and JJB (Juvenile Justice Board).
