Amid rising tensions in the country, AIIMS Nagpur has cancelled all leaves of its doctors and staff, following directives from the Health Department. According to a media report in a national news portal, the hospital is taking key steps to ensure uninterrupted supply of essential medicines, oxygen, and blood, anticipating added pressure on the healthcare system.
It has also made arrangements to provide immediate medical care in case of emergencies. All employees, except those on medical leave, have been asked to report to duty without delay.

Amid rising military tensions between India and Pakistan, the Union Health Ministry and top central hospitals—AIIMS, Safdarjung, and RML—have cancelled all staff leaves indefinitely.
