The official handover of Nagpur Airport to GMR Group for development is just days away, paving the way for a series of upgrades and expanded air connectivity.
According to reliable sources, a new flight service between Nagpur and Noida is likely to be launched soon, with a time slot already allocated at Nagpur Airport. The move is expected to enhance connectivity between the two cities, particularly benefiting business and leisure travelers.
Additionally, reports suggest that several new airlines are preparing to begin operations from Nagpur within the next four months. These additions are expected to include carriers operating under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS), aimed at boosting air travel to underserved areas.
At present, international operations from Nagpur are handled by Air Arabia and Qatar Airways. On the domestic front, airlines such as IndiGo, Air India, and Star Air continue to serve passengers from the city.
