A 45-year-old man died after being electrocuted while disconnecting the charging plug of his electric bicycle at his residence in Bholeswar Nagar, Bharatwada area, under Kalamna Police Station limits. The incident occurred around 9:00 pm on Sunday, July 6.
The deceased, identified as Nitin Narayan Mudpalliwar, received an electric shock while removing the plug. Family members immediately rushed him to Mayo Hospital, Ward No. 37, for treatment. However, doctors declared him dead at around 3:40 am on Monday, July 7, during the course of treatment.
Following medical notification, an accidental death report was registered at Kalamna Police Station. Sub-Inspector Kulsunge is conducting further inquiries into the incident.
