A serious road accident took place on Nagpur’s Sitabuldi Flyover, where a car, a trailer, and a 207 vehicle were involved in a violent collision. The impact of the crash was so severe that two individuals fell off the flyover.
The incident occurred during peak traffic hours, creating panic among commuters. Eyewitnesses reported that the crash happened in a split second, and the damaged vehicles blocked multiple lanes, leading to a major traffic snarl in the area.
Police and emergency services reached the spot quickly. The injured were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The condition of those who fell from the bridge remains critical, according to preliminary reports.
Authorities have begun an investigation to determine the cause of the accident, with initial suspicions pointing towards high speed and possible brake failure. The Sitabuldi flyover remained partially closed for some time as officials cleared the debris and restored traffic movement.
The incident has once again raised concerns about road safety and the urgent need for stricter traffic regulation on busy flyovers in the city.
