NAGPUR: The Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) is set to conduct a freshers course for budding cricket umpires in mid-August 2025. Interested candidates can collect application forms from the VCA Civil Lines office until August 2, 2025, between 11 am and 6 pm.
As per the eligibility criteria, applicants must be between 18 and 40 years of age, should have passed at least the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC), and must be permanent residents of Vidarbha.
The association has also announced that former cricketers will be given preference during the selection process, aiming to bring experienced insight into the umpiring field.
