Nagpur: In preparation for the upcoming Ganeshotsav 2025, a high-level coordination meeting was held on August 8 under the chairmanship of Police Commissioner Ravinder Kumar Singal at the Commissioner of Police office.
The meeting was attended by Joint Commissioner of Police Navinchandra Reddy, Nagpur Municipal Commissioner Abhijit Chaudhary, District Collector Vipin Itankar, Additional Commissioner of Police (South Region) Dr. Shivaji Rathod, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Vasant Pardeshi, Additional Commissioner of Police (North Region) Rajendra Dabhade, Chief Fire Officer Bhagwan Wagh, Transport Department Officer Vilas Thengne, National Highways Authority of India official C.M. Sinha, Electricity Department officials Hemant Vadaskar and S.R. Khan, along with all Deputy Commissioners of Police and Assistant Commissioners of Police from Nagpur City.
During the meeting, officials discussed measures to ensure that this year’s Ganeshotsav is celebrated with joy, in a safe and fearless environment, in an eco-friendly manner, and without disruption to law and order. A review of the shortcomings and challenges faced during last year’s festival was conducted, and officials from various departments were instructed to resolve these issues in advance to ensure smooth celebrations this year.
