Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule hoisted the national flag at the Divisional Commissioner’s office during the Independence Day celebrations. He appealed to citizens, public representatives, and the administration to work collectively towards building a prosperous, safe, and developed Nagpur.

Bawankule emphasised that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, development work is progressing rapidly in healthcare, education, and employment sectors. He said Nagpur district would play a crucial role in fulfilling the vision of a developed India by 2047.
The Minister praised the police for initiatives like Garud Drishti, Operation Thunder, and Operation Shakti, and highlighted the launch of Maharashtra’s first AI-based CCTV system in Saoner. He said plans were underway to expand CCTV coverage across Nagpur city.
Outstanding departments, officers, freedom fighters, and senior citizens were felicitated at the event, which was attended by senior officials, MPs, and other dignitaries.
