A total of 25 government hostels, including 14 hostels for backward class boys and girls in urban areas and 11 hostels for backward class boys and girls at the taluka level, are operational in Nagpur district under the office of Assistant Commissioner, Social Welfare, Nagpur under the Social Justice Department. The following instructions are being given regarding admission to the said hostels.
Applications for hostel admission for all courses for the year 2025-26 have started being accepted through the online portal from 15th June 2025. Applications for hostel admission for vocational courses for the academic year 2025-26 https// hmas.mahalt.org The schedule for accepting applications and finalizing lists has been received through this portal.
The deadline for students to apply for hostel admission for professional courses is September 15th.
However, all the students eligible for hostel accommodation in Nagpur district are hereby appealed to fill the online application form immediately by the given date. For more information regarding hostel admission, please contact the housekeeper of the concerned government hostel or the office of Assistant Commissioner, Social Welfare, Nagpur.
