Nagpur: Schools across the district will observe three additional holidays this year, as per a circular issued by the Education Officer (Secondary) of the Nagpur Zilla Parishad.
According to the notification, all schools will remain closed on August 26 (Tuesday) for Hartalika, September 6 (Saturday) for Anant Chaturdashi, and October 14 (Tuesday) for Dhammachakra Pravartan Din.
The circular, signed by Gautam Gedam, Education Officer (Secondary), clearly instructs schools to comply with the directive. The order follows a letter issued by the Divisional Deputy Director (Education), Nagpur Division, on July 24, making these holidays mandatory for all schools in the district.
