Nagpur Division of Central Railway, keeping in view the safety and convenience of passengers and the general public, undertakes regular maintenance and upgradation works on railway tracks, bridges and level crossings. In this sequence, essential maintenance work has been planned at Level Crossing No. 282/A (Dhantoli Gate), located at Km 980/5-7 between Katol and Kalamba section.
Due to this, the said level crossing will remain closed for road traffic from 10:00 hrs on 06th September 2025 until 24:00 hrs on 12th September 2025. During this period, the railway administration has ensured alternative arrangements for smooth road traffic movement.
Heavy vehicles and other general road traffic will be diverted through Road Over Bridge at Km 981/200-300 (Itarsi Gate) and Road Over Bridge at Km 983/0-100. For light and small vehicles, an alternative route will be available through Level Crossing Gate No. 282 SPL (Jalalkheda Gate) at Km 978/300-400.
Indian Railways appeals to passengers and the general public not to use Dhantoli Gate during the notified period and to make use of the alternative routes provided. This temporary closure is essential to ensure the safety and security of passengers and citizens. The inconvenience caused is regretted.
