In a landmark move for competitive exam preparation, the Maharashtra Class Owners’ Association (MCOA) has unveiled the Maha Mock Test—the country’s first state-wide mock examination initiative for MHT-CET and JEE aspirants.
The programme, developed by Klasy Innovations in collaboration with MCOA and presented by CBS, is powered by Prometric as the official technology partner. Designed to mirror national-level examination standards, the Maha Mock Test offers students a realistic test-taking environment, performance insights, and remote guidance.
Registrations remain open until Children’s Day, November 14, giving students preparing for JEE (January & April sessions) and MHT-CET (May) ample time to participate.
Equal Access and Innovation in Education
Speaking at the launch during the Teachers’ Day celebrations, MCOA President Prajesh Trotsky emphasized that the initiative seeks to empower students and reshape the learning process.
For the first time, over 5,000 coaching classes across Maharashtra are joining forces to deliver uniform testing standards, ensuring students from metros like Mumbai and Nagpur as well as remote regions such as Nandurbar have equal opportunities.
New Collaborations Announced
During the event, MCOA also introduced FORCE (Forum of Registered Coaching Educators)—a coalition of eight coaching organisations that will advocate on policy issues, including the proposed Coaching Class Regulation Bill and GST reforms.
Additionally, MCOA announced a tie-up with the CBS Foundation to roll out support programmes such as:
Group insurance schemes for teachers
Aptitude testing for students
Career guidance initiatives
