e-KYC mandatory for Ladki Bahin scheme beneficiaries

Filing e-KYC for all the beneficiaries under the ‘Ladki Bahin’ scheme in Maharashtra has been made mandatory. The Maharashtra Government has made a special portal for this purpose. The e-KYC will have to be completed within two months.

Those who complete the formalities will get benefits under various government schemes, including the Ladki Bahin scheme.

Minister for Women and Child Development Aditi Tatkare said that e-KYC has been made mandatory to maintain transparency in the scheme. The information is available on the web portal https://ladkibahin.maharashtra.gov.in. The procedure is simple and can be easily completed by the beneficiaries.
