NAGPUR: Nagpur Metro Timings have been revised and the services would be extended by 3 hours on 2nd October – Vijaya Dashmi (Dussehra) and Dhamma Chakra Pravartan Din. The metro services would be available from 5 am till 12 midnight that day. Thus, the first and last metro train from all the four terminal stations – Khapri, Lokmanya Nagar, Automotive Square and Prajapati Nagar would be at 5 and 12 midnight respectively.
Devotees reach Nagpur from all corners of the country for Dhamma Chakra Pravartan Din. The mega event takes place at Deeksha Bhoomi, where devotees from across the city and country reach. To cater to this huge flow of devotees to the city, Maha Metro Nagpur has decided to press additional train services. Similarly, people visit their relatives on the occasion of Vijaya Dashmi (Dussehra).
To facilitate this commuting from different parts of the city for the twin occasions, additional train services are been provided. Maha Metro Nagpur urges devotees and citizens alike to avail of these services to avoid the congestion, while travelling on roads, that day. Importantly, commuters can avail of 30 % discount, the day being Gazetted Holiday.
