On the occasion of Dhammachakra Pravartan Day, the Regional Office of the Central Bureau of Communication, under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, is organizing a two-day photo exhibition on the life of Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar at the world-famous Dragon Palace in Kamthi.
The exhibition, organized jointly under the auspices of Ogawa Society, will be inaugurated on Wednesday, October 1, by Maharashtra Revenue Minister Mr. Chandrashekhar Bawankule. Sulekha Tai Kumbhare, President of Ogawa Society, and Saurabh Khekade, Regional Publicity Officer (Additional Charge), Central Bureau of Communication, Nagpur, will also be prominently present at the event.
Rare photographs and various episodes related to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s life will be displayed in this exhibition. The exhibition aims to inspire as many people as possible by showcasing Dr. Ambedkar’s thoughts and life experiences.
The Central Bureau of Communication, Regional Office, Pune (covering Maharashtra and Goa), functions under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. Through this office, the Nagpur Regional Office regularly conducts programs such as folk art events, exhibitions, competitions, etc., in various tehsils and villages of Nagpur, Bhandara, and Gondia districts to disseminate government policies and schemes to the public and create awareness.
