Two tragic incidents involving students losing their lives have come to light. In the first case, a 10th-grade student ended his life after being scolded by his mother for taking his mobile phone to class.
According to police sources, the deceased, Neutik Kewat, a resident of Royal Heritage, Bandhu Nagar, was studying in the 10th standard and used to attend tuition classes. His mother scolded him upon learning that he was carrying a mobile phone to class and strictly forbade him from doing so. Upset over this, Neutik jumped off the fourth floor of their building, resulting in his death on the spot. His mother is a homemaker and his father is a government employee. The police have registered a case of accidental death.
In the second incident, a student of the Agriculture College, residing in the Bajaj Nagar hostel, was found hanging in his room. The deceased, identified as Iqbal Khan (21) from Rajasthan, tied a rope to the ceiling fan in Room No. 11 and ended his life. The police have registered a case of accidental death, and the reason behind his extreme step remains unknown.
