Bringing pride to the city, Shiva Raju, a young resident of Nagpur, has been selected to join the Indian Army as a Commissioned Officer. He will begin his training at the Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) in Gaya this October.
A former student of Bharti Krishna Vidya Vihar (BKVV), Shiva pursued his engineering degree from Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management. His determination and disciplined preparation paved the way for his entry into the armed forces.
Shiva honed his skills under the guidance of Lt Col M.P. Deshpande through The Forces Foundation and also received specialised training at SPI Aurangabad, a leading institute known for grooming defence aspirants.
Coming from a supportive family, Shiva’s father, Ajay Kumar Raju, is an artist with the Lokmat Group, while his mother, Saroj Raju, is a homemaker. His elder brother, Dipanshu, is employed with a private firm.
Shiva’s achievement reflects his perseverance, discipline, and strong sense of patriotism, serving as an inspiration for other young aspirants aiming to serve the nation through the armed forces.
