In a tragic accident, Prasad Ashok Kale (34) was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Wanjari Nagar, near the water tank, within the Ajni police station area.
The accident occurred around 10 pm on Sunday night when the deceased was riding his black two-wheeler (MH-49 CE 8185) toward Medical Chowk. He was hit from behind by an unidentified speeding four-wheeler, which fled the scene immediately after the collision.
Kale was rushed to the Trauma Center at Government Medical College & Hospital, where he was declared dead during treatment.
A case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) by the complainant, Shripad Shantaram Kale (38).
