Mumbai: In an unexpected disruption on Monday, Jio Hotstar users across the country faced difficulties accessing the platform, with many reporting that the app failed to load or displayed repeated error messages during streaming.
The sudden outage led to widespread frustration among subscribers attempting to watch ongoing shows and live content. Several users took to social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), to express their concerns and share screenshots of the issue.
Addressing the situation, Jio Hotstar issued an official statement, saying, “Due to some unforeseen technical issue, some of our users may have issues while streaming content or accessing the platform. We appreciate your patience while we work to resolve the issue and regret the inconvenience caused.”
The platform’s technical team later confirmed that the glitch had been resolved, restoring normal access for users. Despite the fix, complaints continued to surface online for a brief period before services stabilized completely.
