Nagpur is set to resonate with patriotic fervour as thousands of citizens will take part in the nationwide collective singing of the National Song, Vande Mataram, on November 7, marking the song’s 150th anniversary.
Composed in 1875 by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, Vande Mataram holds a special place in India’s freedom history. To commemorate the milestone, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged citizens across the country to celebrate the occasion by collectively singing the song in its entirety.

Over 25,000 participants are expected to join the patriotic gathering.
