Air travel woes for Nagpur passengers continued on Saturday, as several flights arriving from and departing to major cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, North Goa, and Kolkata faced significant delays. The persistent disruptions over the past few days have caused considerable inconvenience, disrupting the travel plans of thousands of passengers.
Flights on the Nagpur–Mumbai route were among the worst affected. IndiGo flight 6E 2739 took off from Nagpur at 2:45 a.m., nearly 1 hour and 20 minutes late, and reached Mumbai at 4:09 a.m. Another flight, 6E 659, departed at 7:30 p.m. instead of 6:40 p.m., arriving in Mumbai around 9:06 p.m., delayed by nearly 50 minutes.
Return flights from Mumbai to Nagpur also suffered setbacks. Flight 6E 686 left Mumbai at 9:20 p.m. instead of 8:05 p.m., landing in Nagpur at 10:45 p.m., delaying passengers by 1 hour and 15 minutes. Similarly, flight 6E 6235 was delayed by 52 minutes.
The Delhi sector saw similar disruptions. Flight 6E 2265 departed from Nagpur at 2:41 p.m., reaching Delhi about an hour late at 4:26 p.m. Later in the evening, flight 6E 6697 took off at 7:50 p.m. and arrived in Delhi 1 hour and 15 minutes late, at 9:20 p.m. Another Delhi-bound service, 6E 6618, was delayed by 1 hour and 50 minutes, while return flights faced even longer delays. Flight 6E 6696 departed 1 hour and 20 minutes late, and 6E 6529, rescheduled to leave Delhi at 8:55 p.m., eventually landed in Nagpur at 10:30 p.m.—more than two hours behind schedule.
Flights to Pune, North Goa & Kolkata Also Affected
Flight delays were widespread across several key routes on Saturday, adding to the travel woes of Nagpur passengers.
IndiGo flight 6E 812 from Nagpur to Kolkata departed at 9:12 a.m. instead of its scheduled 7:30 a.m., reaching Kolkata 1 hour and 52 minutes late at 10:57 a.m. A late-night flight from Kolkata to Nagpur (6E 862) on Friday also arrived an hour behind schedule, landing at 12:17 a.m.
Flights between Pune and Nagpur faced significant delays as well. Flight 6E 6798 landed in Nagpur 1 hour and 25 minutes late at 3:00 a.m., while 6E 2447 was delayed by 1 hour and 45 minutes, arriving at 8:40 a.m.
Similarly, the North Goa–Nagpur sector was affected, with flight 6E 122 touching down at 2:04 p.m.—54 minutes behind its scheduled arrival time of 1:10 p.m.
