Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass, registered an impressive performance at the Asmita Khelo India Women’s League held at Krida Sankul, Koradi. The event, part of a national initiative to promote and empower girls in sports, saw young athletes competing across various categories with remarkable skill and determination.
In the Under-11 Girls Category, CPS students delivered a standout performance.
- Elakshi Wathore dominated the Open Weight division, winning three consecutive bouts to secure the Gold Medal.
- Pallela Zyana earned the Silver Medal with her strong technical display.
- Arushi Borkan, Shaniera Juneja, and Shriya Singh each won a Bronze Medal in the Point Fight event, showcasing grit and competitive spirit.
Adding to the school’s pride, Elakshi Wathore has been selected to compete in the Khelo India Women’s Kickboxing Zonal Tournament, scheduled from December 25 to 28 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
Principal Perveen Cassad, Vice-Principal Purnima Singh, School Coordinator Shupriya Apte, along with mentors Pritam Pinjarkar and Mehboob Ansari, congratulated the young achievers and extended their best wishes to Elakshi for the upcoming zonal event.
