Delhi Public School Kamptee Road, Nagpur successfully hosted its Inter-School Art & Design Competition ‘AAKARSHAN 2025’ on 29th November, 2025. Centred on the theme ‘Nature Sparks Innovation’ the event brought together enthusiastic participants from various schools who showcased their creativity through colouring doodle, art folk art and digital design. The artworks beautifully captured the connection between nature and innovation reflecting the students’ imagination and their ability to transform natural elements into artistic inspiration. The atmosphere was vibrant and inspiring with young artists confidently presenting their interpretations of the theme.
Ms Suhani Jain, a distinguished artist and mentor whose artistic footprints extend globally graced the event as the Chief Guest. Her expertise and invaluable guidance enriched the participants’ knowledge. Adding to the grandeur of the event Ms Tulika Kedia, President and Pro-Vice Chairperson, Delhi Public School Kamptee Road and MIHAN, Nagpur joined the event virtually and extended her heartfelt wishes to all the participants.
Ms Savita Jaiswal, Director of Delhi Public School Kamptee Road and MIHAN, Nagpur also conveyed her warm greetings appreciating the school’s efforts in nurturing artistic expression and encouraging the students to explore their creativity fearlessly.
Mr Mahesh Chaube, a seasoned Brand Consultant with 19 years of rich experience in marketing judged the Digital Art event. He was in awe of the creativity unleashed by the participants.
The competitions were conducted smoothly with excellent coordination by the school staff and the wholehearted participation of the visiting schools. The panel of judges praised the originality thematic clarity and presentation skills demonstrated across categories. The Digital Art segment based on the theme ‘India 2050: A Dream Nation’ especially stood out for its futuristic concepts and meaningful depictions.
The Principal, Ms Yogeeta Umalkar, in her address congratulated the participants for their outstanding performances and highlighted that such platforms play a vital role in fostering imagination observation and creative thinking skills that help the students appreciate the world around them and transform ideas into impactful artistic expressions.
The event concluded on a memorable and positive note celebrating young talent and offering a vibrant platform for artistic growth. The school extended its gratitude to all the participants teachers and parents for contributing to the resounding success of AAKARSHAN 2025.
