Guardian Minister Bawankule Presents Awards at NMC Shri 2025 Bodybuilding Competition

Nilesh Jogi Wins ‘Champion of Champions’ Title at NMC Shri 2025; Awards Presented by State Ministers

The winners of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation Shri 2025 Bodybuilding Competition, jointly organised by Nagpur Municipal Corporation and the Body Builders and Fitness Association Vidarbha, Nagpur, were felicitated on Sunday by Maharashtra Revenue Minister and Nagpur District Guardian Minister Shri Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Minister of State for Home Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar, and MLA Shri Krishna Khopde.
In this competition, the title of “Champion of Champions” was won by Mr. Nilesh Jogi from Nagpur, while Mr. Akash Dadmal from Chandrapur was awarded the Best Poser title. A total prize amount of ₹4,24,000 was distributed among all the winners.

The competition was held at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (Kacchi Visa) Ground in the Lakadganj area. Present on the occasion were Municipal Corporation Deputy Commissioner Shri Mangesh Khavle, Sports Officer Shri Piyush Ambulkar, former corporator Shri Narendra (Balya) Borkar, Body Builder Association President Shri Sangram Gawande, General Secretary Shri Abhishek Karingwar, Treasurer Shri Dinesh Chavre, and others.
A large audience had gathered to witness the event. The excitement continued late into the night as spectators eagerly awaited the announcement of the “Champion of Champions.” Many contestants from across Vidarbha participated in the competition.

Both major winners received cash prizes from Guardian Minister Shri Chandrashekhar Bawankule and other dignitaries. Cash prizes were also awarded to winners in all other categories.

The competition was conducted in six weight categories.
“Champion of Champions” winner Mr. Nilesh Jogi also secured first place in the above 80 kg weight category. Meanwhile, Mr. Akash Dadmal secured first place in the 75 kg category.
