Vidarbha witnessed low temperatures across several districts as the winter chill settled in. Nagpur, which had earlier dipped to 8°C, remained cold with a minimum of 10.0°C on 12 December, making the mornings and evenings distinctly chilly. Gondia (8.4°C) and Yavatmal (8.5°C) were also among the coldest spots in the region, reflecting a widespread drop in night temperatures. Daytime highs stayed between 28°C and 31°C, creating a sharp contrast between the warm afternoons and the cold nights.
