The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a 15-member squad for the 2026 T20 World Cup, scheduled from February 7 to March 8. Shubman Gill has been dropped, while Axar Patel has been named vice-captain. Ishan Kishan earns a recall following his impressive performances in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The same squad will also play in the five-match T20I series against New Zealand from January 21 to 31.
