That distinction currently belongs to Jayshree Ullal, President and CEO of Arista Networks, who has emerged as the wealthiest Indian-origin professional executive in the world.
Jayshree Ullal’s Net Worth
Jayshree Ullal made a remarkable jump in the Hurun India Rich List 2025. With a net worth estimated at ₹50,170 crore, she secured the top spot among Indian-origin professional managers globally. In comparison, Satya Nadella ranked second with a net worth of ₹9,770 crore, while Sundar Pichai stood seventh at ₹5,810 crore.
According to Forbes, Ullal has been leading Silicon Valley-based computer networking firm Arista Networks since 2008. Under her leadership, the company posted revenues of USD 7 billion in 2024, marking nearly 20 percent year-on-year growth. Ullal reportedly owns about 3 percent stake in the company.
Who Is Jayshree Ullal?
Jayshree Ullal was born on March 27, 1961, in London to an Indian-origin Hindu family. As per Bloomberg, she moved to India at the age of five, where her father—a physicist—worked with the Indian Ministry of Education and played a role in establishing the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). She studied at Jesus and Mary Convent in New Delhi before relocating to San Francisco following her father’s career moves.
As per her LinkedIn profile, Ullal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Francisco State University. She later earned a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University in 1986. In recognition of her contributions to the field, she was awarded an honorary doctorate in engineering in 2025.
