In a proud moment for Vidarbha, city student Namira Mohammad Ghalib Siddiqui has secured All India Rank 1 in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS), marking an outstanding academic accomplishment.
A native of Bhandara and a student of Swargiya Dadasaheb Kalmegh Smruti Dental College and Hospital in Wanadongri, Siddiqui aspires to build a successful career as a dental surgeon. Her achievement has earned widespread appreciation from across Nagpur and the Vidarbha region.
Belonging to a middle-class family, Siddiqui attributed her success to disciplined study habits, consistency, and focused exam preparation. Her father runs a business, while her mother is a homemaker. Her younger brother is also preparing for the NEET examination.
“My main focus was studying at night. I found it easier to concentrate in silence rather than during the daytime distractions,” Siddiqui said. “During the preparation phase, I compromised heavily on sleep. Out of 24 hours, I slept only five hours.”
She added that her preparation was not limited to textbooks and involved extensive practice through previous years’ question papers, which she solved under strict time constraints to improve speed and accuracy.
