Delhi Public School, MIHAN, celebrated its Annual Sports Day 2025–26 with great enthusiasm and splendour on the school campus, showcasing a vibrant display of energy, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The celebration was honoured by the presence of the recipient of Arjuna Awardee and Guru Dronacharya Awardee Mr. Vijay Munishwar, who graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Under the visionary leadership of President and Pro-Vice Chairperson Ms. Tulika Kedia and Director Ms. Savita Jaiswal, the Annual Sports Day focused on a vibrant celebration of fitness, creativity, and unity.
The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of more than 900 students from Grades 3 to 9, who showcased their talent through a series of track events and spectacular drills. The event commenced with the ceremonial Torch (Mashal) Run that marked the formal declaration of the Annual Sports Day open.
Students captivated the audience with meticulously synchronised performances, including Lazim drills, Dumbbell drills, and a breath-taking Moving Pyramid display reflecting strength, coordination, teamwork, and discipline.
Principal Ms. Nidhi Yadav, in her address, emphasised the importance of sports in holistic education and character building. The Chief Guest applauded the students for their enthusiasm and resilience and commended DPS MIHAN for fostering a strong sporting culture alongside academic excellence.
