The city continued to experience mild winter conditions as Nagpur recorded a maximum temperature of 28.1 degrees Celsius, slightly below normal, while the minimum dipped to 9.4 degrees Celsius, according to the latest data from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature in Nagpur fell by 0.7 degrees Celsius over the past 24 hours, registering a departure of 0.3 degrees below normal. The minimum temperature also declined by 0.8 degrees Celsius, remaining 2.8 degrees below the seasonal average, indicating cooler nights across the city.
Relative humidity stood at 64 per cent at 8.30 am, while no rainfall was recorded in the last 24 hours. Visibility during the morning hours ranged between 4 and 10 kilometres, ensuring normal commuting conditions.
Across Vidarbha, several districts reported a drop in both day and night temperatures, with Yavatmal recording the sharpest fall in maximum temperature. The IMD has indicated that dry weather conditions are likely to persist over the region, with cool nights expected to continue in the coming days.
