Motorists planning to travel on the Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg between January 31 and February 3, 2026, should take note of temporary traffic blocks at several locations in Nagpur and Wardha districts due to gantry installation work.
The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has announced that gantries will be installed under the Highway Traffic Management System (HTMS) in 14 phases along the stretch from km 0+000 to km 89+413 of the expressway.
The affected stretch passes through Hingna taluka in Nagpur district and Selu, Arvi, and Wardha talukas in Wardha district. During the installation work, traffic on the concerned carriageway will be completely halted for 45 to 60 minutes at scheduled time slots.

Travel Advisory
The MSRDC has appealed to commuters to plan their journeys accordingly, allow extra travel time, and cooperate with traffic authorities during the temporary stoppages. The gantry installation is aimed at improving traffic monitoring, safety, and overall highway management on the Samruddhi Mahamarg.
