Delhi Public School Kamptee Road, Nagpur hosted its Annual Fete Fun Velocity 2026 on Saturday, 31st January, 2026. The event was a grand success and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, parents and many more visitors. The students of Grade VIII took the initiative in planning and organising the fete, playing a significant role in ensuring its smooth execution and lively spirit.
The fete was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Chef Vishnu Manohar, a renowned culinary artist from Central India with 25 world records to his name.
Ms. Tulika Kedia, President and Pro-Vice Chairperson, Delhi Public School Kamptee Road and MIHAN, Nagpur conveyed her warm wishes and blessings for the grand success of Fun Velocity 2026. Ms. Savita Jaiswal, Director, Delhi Public School Kamptee Road and MIHAN, Nagpur also extended her heartfelt wishes, appreciating the dedicated efforts of the students and staff in making the event vibrant and memorable.
The fete featured an exciting blend of games, food and engaging activities that kept everyone entertained throughout the evening. The games zone buzzed with energy at stalls such as Ring the Bottle, Spin the Wheel, Ball in Box, How Fast You Are and Play Station, all of which witnessed cheerful participation. The food section emerged as a major attraction, offering a wide variety of delicacies catering to every taste. Activity corners such as the Kids Area, nail art, tattoo stall, gift corner and DJ further enhanced the festive atmosphere, making the campus vibrant and joyful.
The highlight of the evening was the Fashion Show, which brought colour, confidence and creativity to the stage. The students and parents walked the ramp with style and imagination, presenting themes that celebrated fashion across seasons and dreams for the future. The show was judged by Ms. Priyanka Jaiswal, Fashion Blogger, and Ms. Tanya Kapoor, Fashion and Travel Guide, whose expert insights added grace and excitement to the event.
The fete concluded with the announcement of the raffle draw winners. Exciting prizes sponsored by various organisations were distributed, including a luxurious one-night stay at Singinawa Jungle Lodge, Kanha as the first prize, a water purifier as the second prize, a sports bicycle as the third prize, a home theatre as the fourth prize, a rice cooker as the fifth prize, along with many other attractive rewards. The joy and excitement on the winners’ faces marked a perfect end to the evening.
