Beneficiaries of the Maharashtra government’s Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana can now correct their e-KYC details until March 31, Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare announced on Friday.
The decision comes after the government received complaints from beneficiaries who selected incorrect options while completing the e-KYC process.
Eligible women who have completed e-KYC but have not yet received benefits are being given another opportunity to update their details through the online portal.Tatkare said the department aims to ensure that all eligible women receive the scheme’s benefits and urged those who made mistakes in their e-KYC to correct the information before the March 31 deadline.
