The Nagpur District Auto Drivers–Owners’ Federation, affiliated with the All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), has extended its support to the nationwide strike scheduled for February 12.
This was announced by Mohan Bawane, Executive President of the organisation, at a press conference.
The key demands include the formation of a community welfare board, provision of designated parking spaces for auto-rickshaws, a ban on private aggregator companies, and strict action against e-rickshaws operating without badges or valid licenses, among other issues.
