Wedding celebrations are set to begin in Maharashtra’s prominent Pawar family as Revati Sule, granddaughter of senior leader Sharad Pawar and daughter of Baramati MP Supriya Sule, is set to marry Sarang Arun Lakhani, son of Vishwaraj Group Chairman and Managing Director Arun Lakhani.
The marriage alliance between the Sule and Lakhani families has been finalised and is reported to have been facilitated under the guidance of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The announcement has drawn considerable attention across political and social circles in the state.
While the wedding date and venue are yet to be officially announced, confirmation of the engagement emerged after Smriti Shinde, daughter of former Union Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, shared a congratulatory post on social media.
Sarang Lakhani is associated with the infrastructure and real estate sector and is also a noted badminton player who has represented India in national and international tournaments.
With this marriage, Revati Sule is set to become Nagpur’s daughter-in-law, symbolically linking Baramati’s prominent political family with a well-known Nagpur business household—an alliance that has already generated interest beyond Maharashtra’s political corridors.
