The High Court Bar Association (HCBA), Nagpur, will organise the oath-taking ceremony of its newly elected executive committee on Saturday (February 14) at 6 pm at Dr Vasantrao Deshpande Auditorium.
Former Chief Justice of India Justice Bhushan Gavai will grace the event as the chief guest. Justice Nitin Sambre of the Delhi High Court and Justice Anil Killor, administrative judge of the Nagpur Bench of the Bombay High Court, will attend as guests of honour.
The newly elected office-bearers include president Adv Abhay Sambre, secretary Adv Shrirang Bhongade, vice-presidents Adv Ganesh Khanzhode and Adv Smita Deshpande, and treasurer Adv Richa Inamdar. Other members taking charge are joint secretary Adv Palash Mohta, library in-charge Adv Shubhada Phaltankar, and executive members Adv Isha Thakare, Adv Surbhi Gupta, Adv Neha Agrawal, Adv Sanket Joshi, Adv Tabish Mirza, Adv Kshitij Jain, Adv Renuka Keole, Adv Hariom Dhage and Adv Vipul Ingle.
DBA Elections on April 24
Meanwhile, the election schedule for the Nagpur District Bar Association (DBA) has been announced. Polling will take place on April 24, and the results will be declared on April 25. The final voters’ list will be published on March 30. The last date for filing nomination papers is April 6, and the final list of contesting candidates will be released on April 10.
