“Effective use of AI in modern library practices is essential for providing reliable information to students and faculty,” said Dr Manju Dubey, Librarian and Associate Professor at R S Mundle Dharampeth College, while addressing a workshop on Library Management in the AI Era and its Challenges.
The workshop was jointly organised by Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Government Medical College.Among those prominently present were Dr Raj Gajbhiye, Additional Director of Medical Education; Dr Ravi Chavan, Dean of IGGMC; and Dr Bhavana Sonawane, Head of the Department of Radiology at IGGMC.
Experts including Dr Seema Vyas, former Librarian of GMC, and Sanjay Kemkar, former Librarian of Government Dental College, also guided participants on the procurement process for books and journals in libraries.
