A cheque of Rs 75,000 was donated to The Blind Relief Association’s School for the Visually Impaired on February 17. The donation was made in memory of Shrikant Indurkar, former Principal of ITI, Nagpur, by his daughter Madhumati Indurkar-Khadilkar based in USA, on his first death anniversary.

The cheque was handed over to Director of TBRA Makrand Pandharipande. Shrikant Indurkar, a mechanical engineer from Nagpur’s VRCE (Now VNIT) earlier worked with Groundwater Survey of India and later joint vocational education in ITI at Amravati, Jalgaon, Panvel, Aurangabad and Nagpur. He was a staunch RSS volunteer.
Madhumati Khadilkar plans to extend financial support to TBRA or any other institution working for the Persons with Disabilities every year in her father’s memory
