The Maharashtra CET Cell has extended the application deadline for MHT CET 2026, offering another opportunity to candidates who have not yet applied. The entrance examination serves as the primary gateway for admission to engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture courses across the state.
Candidates who are yet to complete their applications can do so by visiting the official website.
According to the latest notification issued by the examination authority, the last date to apply without a late fee was February 24, while applications with a late fee will be accepted until February 27.
Applicants are advised not to wait until the last moment to submit their forms, as heavy traffic may cause technical issues with the server.
A major change has been introduced in the application process this year. The Apar ID has been made mandatory for all applicants. Candidates who do not possess an Apar ID must first generate one through DigiLocker. Without this ID, the application form cannot be submitted successfully.
The MHT CET 2026 examination will be conducted in two phases this year.
