International flight services between Nagpur and key Gulf destinations were disrupted over the weekend after airlines cancelled operations to Doha and Sharjah due to a temporary airspace closure.Arrivals from Doha and Sharjah to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport were cancelled on Saturday, while departures from Nagpur to these destinations were called off on Sunday, causing inconvenience to passengers.Air Arabia’s direct flight G9451 from Sharjah to Nagpur, scheduled for February 29, was cancelled. The flight was slated to depart Sharjah at 12.30 am IST (11 pm local time on February 28) and arrive in Nagpur at 3.45 am the same day. Its return service, G9416, scheduled to leave Nagpur at 4.25 am on Sunday and land in Sharjah at 6.55 am, was also cancelled.Similarly, Qatar Airways suspended its Doha–Nagpur–Doha operations for Saturday and Sunday. Flight QR590, which was scheduled to depart Doha at 10.30 pm IST on Saturday, was cancelled. The return flight from Nagpur, scheduled for departure at 3.50 am on Sunday, was also called off.In a statement shared on social media, Qatar Airways Group confirmed the temporary suspension of services due to the airspace closure.
