Nagpur Division of Central Railway proudly announces that Ms. Alfiya Pathan (Ticket Examiner Nagpur) has been selected to represent India in the upcoming Asian Boxing Championship to be held at Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, from 28.03.2026 to 11.04.2026.
Alfiya Pathan recently won the Gold Medal at the 9th Elite Senior National Men’s & Women’s Boxing Championship held at Noida (Uttar Pradesh). Representing Indian Railways, she defeated a strong contender from Haryana in the final bout to clinch the top honour.
Her remarkable gold medal performance at the national level, along with her consistent achievements in various championships, paved the way for her selection to the Indian squad for the forthcoming Asian Championship.
This accomplishment is a matter of immense pride for the Divisional Sports Association (DSA) and the entire fraternity of railwaymen and women of Nagpur Division.
