The temple complex will feature two separate sanctums (garbhagrihas) for the Digambar and Shwetambar sects, allowing followers of both traditions to worship within the same premises while preserving their distinct rituals. The project will also include a dedicated prayer hall (Sthanak) and a Sant Niwas to accommodate seers.
During the bhoomi puja ceremony, a detailed model of the proposed temple was unveiled, showcasing its architectural design and layout. The event was attended by minister of state for home Pankaj Bhoyar, former MP Ajay Sancheti, MLC Parinay Fuke, former mayor Dayashankar Tiwari, along with industrialists, developers, and members of the Jain community.
Addressing the gathering, Acharya Suvirsagar Maharaj highlighted India’s spiritual strength, noting that despite unrest in various parts of the world, the country continues to embody peace and harmony due to its deep-rooted traditions and the blessings of saints.
Ajay Sancheti described the initiative as an important step towards strengthening unity within the Jain community. Messages from other spiritual leaders, including Acharya Prashampati Vijay Maharaj, were also shared on the occasion.
