Under the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra, the Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Maharashtra State, Mumbai, in association with Kalasangam, Kala va Sanskrutik Mandal, and Keshavnagar Cultural Sabha, has organized a grand patriotic and folk-based musical-dance program titled ‘Maati Hamara Vandan..!!’, along with the ‘Ramsmaran Lecture Series’.
The ‘Maati Hamara Vandan..!!’ program will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 6:30 PM at Sai Sabhagruh, Shankarnagar. Around 200 renowned singers, musicians, and dance-drama artists from Nagpur will participate, presenting a unique confluence of patriotism and Indian folk culture for the audience.
Additionally, the ‘Ramsmaran Lecture Series’ will be organised from March 28 to 30, 2026, at 6:30 PM daily at Maharshi Vyas Sabhagruh, Dr. Hedgewar Smarak Parisar, Reshimbagh. On March 28, noted orator Vivek Ghalsasi will deliver a lecture on ‘Ramayanatil Bhetigathi’, with Piyush Ambulkar, Cultural and Sports Officer of Nagpur Municipal Corporation, presiding over the session.
On March 29, renowned actor and speaker Sharad Ponkshe will speak on ‘India as a Hindu Nation’, with Standing Committee Chairperson Shivani Dani-Wakhare as the presiding guest.
On March 30, noted speaker Srinivas Pendse will deliver a lecture on ‘Mrityunjay Chhatrapati’. The session will be presided over by Dr. Manali Kshirsagar, Vice-Chancellor of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.
The event will be graced by Maharashtra’s Minister for Information Technology and Cultural Affairs, Adv. Ashish Shelar, as the Chairperson of the Welcome Committee. The program is being coordinated by Amar Kulkarni, with music direction by Anand Maste and coordination by Gajanan Ranade.
Director of Cultural Affairs, Maharashtra State, Mumbai, Shriram Pande has appealed to citizens to attend the event in large numbers.
