Initiative featured in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’
Prof. Rajendra Singh Science Exploratory proudly informed that Ananya Vyavahare, a student of its International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) training program, has been selected for a prestigious national-level research program at the Prayoga Institute, Bengaluru. Notably, this Prayoga’s program was recently highlighted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ address.
Out of nearly 8,000 students from across India, only around 200 were selected for this highly competitive program, with Ananya being one of them. She is currently participating in an intensive two-month research program at Prayoga, where she is gaining hands-on exposure to advanced scientific experiments, research methodologies, and inquiry-based learning.
Director, Dr. Seema Ubale from the exploratory congratulated Ananya for this opportunity. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Govinda Lakhotiya, one of mentors of exploratory, stated that the IJSO training program focuses on developing scientific temperament, critical thinking, and research skills among students, enabling them to compete at both national and international levels.
Students currently studying in Class 7 are eligible to appear for the entrance examination for next year’s batch. A selected batch of 30 students will undergo one year of rigorous training under expert guidance. The program also includes sessions conducted by distinguished faculty members from across the country. Additionally, students of Classes 5 and 6 (academic session 2025–26) can also benefit from foundation-level programs, including laboratory training and preparation for various reluted competitive examinations in science and mathematics.
