The Indian Medical Association, Nagpur branch, has elected its new team of office-bearers for 2026–27, with Dr Sachin Gathe appointed as President.
The newly elected office-bearers include Dr Anjali Bhandarkar as Honorary Secretary and Dr Aniruddha Deoke as President-Elect. Dr Manisha Rathi and Dr Prajakta Kaduskar will serve as Vice Presidents. Dr Mukund Ganeriwal has been named Honorary Treasurer.
Dr Pallavi Alsi and Dr Aditya Parihar have been appointed Honorary Joint Secretaries. Dr Shankar Khobragade is the Honorary Assistant Director of the IMA CGP Nagpur Chapter, while Dr Sanjay Jain is the Honorary Assistant Secretary. Dr Ajay Deshpande will serve as Chairman of the IMA AMS Nagpur Chapter, and Dr Shubhangi Vairagade as its Honorary Secretary.
The newly elected team has officially taken charge. The election process was conducted smoothly under the supervision of Dr Krishna Parate, Chairman of the Election Commission, along with committee members Dr Anand Kate and Dr Pradeep Rajderkar, who congratulated the new office-bearers.
The ceremony was attended by several senior members, including Dr Rajesh Sawarbandhe, Immediate Past President, and Dr Jitendra Sahu, Immediate Past Secretary, along with other office-bearers of the 2025–26 term.
Prominent members present included Dr Ashok Adhao, Dr Manjusha Giri, Dr Milind Naik, Dr Y S Deshpande, Dr Prashant Nikhade, Dr Anil Laddhad, Dr Rajesh Ballal, Dr B K Sharma, Dr Warsha Dhawale, Dr Sanjay Deshpande, Dr Ajay Kate, Dr Avinash Wase, Dr Vaishali Khandait, Dr Ashish Disawal, Dr Kush Jhunjhunwala, Dr Archana Kothari, Dr Sanjay Deotale, Dr Prakash Deo, Dr Vandana Kate, and others.
